In the midst of all his woes, Mel Gibson still has a friend, and quite a well-known one at that. Double Oscar winner Jodie Foster has made it very clear in an interview with More magazine that she is supporting Gibson “through this dark moment”, referring to the recent video footage of him being shown in a somewhat unfavourable light. “You don’t abandon [a friend] when they are struggling,” she said.
